Frequently Asked Questions when booking Mark Travis for your next event...
Question: What is your background in Magic?
Answer: Mark has been performing professionally for the past 15 years.  At first it was only a hobby, but over the years Mark developed his passion into his profession.  Over a period of a few years he received tutledge in restaurant magic from an accomplished restaurant magician in the Los Angeles area.  Mark is a former member of the world renowned Academy of Magical Arts (otherwise known as the Magic Castle in Hollywood, Ca.).  Also, he's a graduate of the distinguished Chavez Studio of Magic, where he was trained by the esteemed magician Dale Salwak.  Over the years Mark has performed at several restaurants and bars in Southern California, Charleston (SC), Seattle, St. Louis, and San Antonio.
Question: Does your performances work in a trade show environment?
Answer: Certainly!  This is fairly similar to the strolling magician environment, only its the crowd that's strolling.  The key is getting people to stop at your booth.  When given a short time to prepare, Mark will work your theme/product into his performances.  Using a magician is a great way to get people to stop and watch.
Question: Cost of services ?
Answer:  Depends on the venue, but typically $200 for the first hour and $100 for each additional hour.  There are many factors regarding time required.  Sometimes people want three hours of strolling magic, but only plan on having 50 guests.  In this case there would be no reason to have Mark perform for more than an hour, or maybe two.
