Frequently Asked Questions when booking Mark Travis for your next event...
Question: What is your background in Magic?
Answer: Mark has been performing professionally for over 16 years.  At first it was only a hobby, but over the years Mark developed his passion into his profession.  Over a period of a few years he received tutledge in restaurant magic from an accomplished restaurant magician in the Los Angeles area.  Mark is a former member of the world renowned Academy of Magical Arts (otherwise known as the Magic Castle in Hollywood, Ca.).  Also, he's a graduate of the distinguished Chavez Studio of Magic, where he was trained by the esteemed magician Dale Salwak.  Over the years Mark has performed at several restaurants and bars in Southern California, Charleston (SC), Seattle, St. Louis, and San Antonio.
Question: How does your performance work in a trade show environment?
Answer: At a Trade Show one of the keys to success is getting people to stop at your booth and listen to your message. Mark specializes in attracting people to your booth, and when given a short time to prepare, he will work your product/message into his performances. Using a magician is a great way to get people to stop, watch and listen.
Question: How much do you charge ?
Answer:  This varies depending upon several factors. What is the venue? Location - How far do I have to travel? Length of performance? Type of performance? There are several factors to be considered in determining price and providing the best entertainment value. Sometimes people want three hours of strolling magic, but plan on having only 50 guests. In this case there would be no reason to have Mark perform for more than an hour. Mark works with you to fit within your budget and provide the best entertainment value for your event.
